Mr. Neal

Algebra 1 is the foundation for all math courses.  Students master important skills such as understanding the number system, solving, graphing, and writing linear equations and inequalities, evaluating and writing functions, graphing linear systems, simplifying exponents, graphing quadratics, simplifying polynomials, and factoring.  In each unit, special attention is paid to realistic & complex word problems that prepare students for the State of Ohio End of Year (EOY) exams.  Learning is also supported by interactive, inquiry-based lessons.
