Honors Physics Resources!
Honors Physics is an advanced science course. Physics is the study of how things move and interact with the world around us. Topics include the analysis of motion, projectiles, forces, momentum, work, power, energy, wave properties, light, electricity, and magnetism. Bonus discussions include our galaxy and the universe, Einstein's theory of general relativity, particle physics, and other current topics in physics. Students conduct investigations in a laboratory setting and are pushed to sharpen their scientific reasoning skills throughout the year.
Units:
1 - Introduction to Physics
2 - 1D Kinematics
3 - Vectors
4 - 2D Motion (Projectile Motion)
5 - Forces (Part 1: Newton's Laws, Ramps)
6 - Forces (Part 2: Friction, Gravitation)
7 - Work, Power, and Energy
